After completing his studies at the Faculty of Dentistry in Brest, Alexandre COURTET joined the European program in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry within the Periodontology Department led by Professor Philippe BOUCHARD at Rothschild Hospital in Paris.
Following three years of full-time training, he was awarded the European Postgraduate in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology. He then continued his hospital and teaching commitments by taking up the position of University Clinic Head – Assistant at Paris Hospitals under the supervision of Professor Maria Clotilde CARRA.
His clinical practice is now focused exclusively on implant and pre-implant surgery, mucogingival surgery (gum grafts), and the management of periodontal diseases.
He has served as a translator for the ‘Journal of Clinical Periodontology Digest’ and is currently a member of the editorial board of the journal ‘Parodontologie Implantologie Orale.’ He is the author of several national and international publications.
